Privacy Notice
This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for zaxrosenberg.com. This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this website. It will notify you of the following:

  1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the website, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.
  2. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
  3. The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
  4. How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
I am the sole owners of the information collected on this site. I only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via comments, forms, or other direct contact from you. I will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

I will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party except as necessary to run this site (literally just in here because I use a webhost that technically has access), other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. respond to a contact form submission.

Note: Some of the features of this website allow for some information to be collected, including the reCAPTCHA found on various forms on our website (this is Google’s privacy policy for it) and the traceback/pingback integrated into WordPress/related services (allows me to see stuff like what websites were visited immediately before/after my site). This type of information is commonly collected by most websites.  If that makes you mad/scared (as I think it should), I encourage you to work on securing your browser.  This is one of my favorite tools for all things web security/privacy: privacytools.io .

I may make changes to this privacy policy from time to time, but the philosophy of avoiding personally-identifying data collection at all times is intended to remain intact.

Your Access to and Control Over Information
You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You may also request that I delete any of your provable individual comments on the website at any time (i.e. a comment made via a social media account). You can make either request by contacting me using the contact form on the website.

Security
I take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline to the degree I’m currently able. That said, an SSL certificate is currently outside my budget, so there is no HTTPS version of the site (if you like my posts, I’d be happy to take an SSL certificate donation 🙂 ).  Additionally, WordPress (this website’s CMS) and websites in general inherently have security flaws: php, javascript, and flash are well known to be problematic languages from a security point of view.

If you feel that I am not abiding by this privacy policy, you should contact us immediately via the contact form.
